Hi,
On my laptop I decided to copy about 1GB of data from my HDD with XP on it to the Vista Beta release. However, when I copied in Vista it took quite a while, saying it was going at just over 1MB a sec, but am sure it was quicker lol. and the time was all over the place lol.
Though I should bear in mind it was on my laptop running off the battery (which I dunno how much is left cos Vista doesnt really know its a laptop with a battery lol)

I copied (pulled from XP) some (4) 300M files from my XPpro Desktop (100M wired Network) and went to dinner. The copy was still running when I got back over 30 minutes later :/ XP to XP (same EXACT hardware) typically took about 5 minutes.
Thank god it isnt just me lol. It must have something to do with the new file system (maybe) :S
